According to some of the image sites i've been to and one of the blogs i read by a japanese poster the live action cast is already chosen. Also there is a live action higurashi based hentai movie out there as well according to the same blogger.

Why, not? the media world wide tends to sensationlism, why not blame the media? That would be simular to a random killing and the murder saying he did it because God told him to, so he blames that for his actions. |

Incidentally, a fanslation of the first game in the Umineko no Naku Koro ni series is in development. Ties to Higurashi are few, but there's something which may prove to bind them together pretty effectively...or should I say...someONE. *gives a sly grin and slinks slowly away into the shadows, taking my stash of spoilers with me* |
