It is a lot like Baccano! Durarara!! is to current Japan as Baccano! is to the U.S. in the 30's. They even have the recap in the middle of the opening like Baccano! did. I'm really enjoying this show so far, and it seemed like most people today were enjoying the first episode.

This thing is awesome! Given this show's spiritual predecessor, I am looking forward to lots of twists and turns in the plot. We need more of this stuff!

I'm OK with that headless what ever the hell thing running around killing people. A nut ball Suicide helper, A Black Russian Japanese, Headless Horseman with a Cell phone. I'm liking it. I couldn't have said it better myself. This is a very intriguing concept for a show, particularly in the way that most if not all of these eccentric characters are connected some how. It seems to be a high-quality production and I'd definitely like to see more. |

The whole concept of how every character is connected is a lot like the connections between the people in Baccano!. I'm really excited to show everyone episode three. Some pretty crazy stuff goes down.
