im sorry Luke but I gotta go with Gabe with this don't get me wrong I like watching dubs really I do I just like having both dub and sub on my DVDS and Blu Ray

Yeah, I know, I'm just teasing. However, the blame lies with the Japanese branch, not the American branch. Apparently, they're not letting Bandai have the Japanese track for the blu-ray release.
Obviously, it's a means of keeping the Japanese viewers from importing the American version for a lower price than is available over there, an issue that's not present with the normal DVD release. Given that, I understand why they're doing it, though I don't personally agree with it.

well, generally, I would only really care about the BD for editing purposes... but I don't care for that series much anyway. So well... as annoying as it is, yeah, whatever.

This doesn't really concern me, as I usually buy the special edition DVDs over Blu-Ray discs because of the extra goodies they come with, even though I have a Blu-Ray player in my laptop and PS3. However, if I did start buying Blu-Rays, I would definitely only buy ones that had the Japanese audio on them, otherwise I wouldn't even want to watch them at all.
