Is anyone here planning on going to Ohayocon 2010? It is taking place January 29-31, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio. Here is the website: www.ohayocon.org/I'm planning on attending and I know that there is at least one other member interested. It would be nice if we could get most of the club to go on a group trip to Ohio to attend this convention, or at least a group of a couple members to go so we don't have to go alone. So if anyone else is planning on going, it would be nice to know and who does everyone plan on going as? I am thinking about going as Lelouch Lamperouge/Zero from Code Geass and Shinichi Okazaki from NANA again as I did this last weekend at Youmacon. I am also considering going as Gauche Suede from Letter Bee.

If we get enough people to go, I would join in... I would probably go as Teito Klein from 07-Ghost, not L like Youmacon...

I used to staff Ohayocon. I've become displeased with the convention and how it is run in general. Plus the change in time from right before school starts to right in the thick of things is really annoying.
IF I go it'll be a last min kind of thing.
However, I recomend getting a room at the Drurry. FREE BAR and BREAKFAST = happy Nate ^^

Well it would be great if both of you went. And for the Drurry, I'm not of age, but free breakfast is certainly a plus.^^

ACEN is AWESOME! (this is totally not a biased opinion just because I'm on staff)

Actually no. There is Jafax (though it's an event not a con) Kuzuricon (it's too close to AWA for me to goto) and Anime Detroit.
Acen is an Il con, not a Michigan con. Though when I signed on Youmacon year 1 we were the only anime con in Michigan.
I do staff a lot of cons however, or have staffed many of them.
