Is UMD Anime club getting phished?

i keep getting emails pertaining to the umd animeclub and i just delete them i have no idea if they are legit and who is doing this

i did reply to one once they never replied so i lead to believe its a phishing thing of some sort ... i wouldnt know if it is or not just my guess

ill paste it here because it happens so often im not sure what to do

E-mails sent to the anime club e-mail address are automatically sent to everyone on the mailing list. The reason you keep getting that same e-mail is because Gabe has yet to respond to them.

This is an old phenomenon, though this is the first I have seen from an organization.

Speaking of which, what does Gabe think of this? Should we support it? I don't see why not - unless these are not legit people...

well i know its been going on but this one was different than the others and i have gotten it twice already

the others are by individual people, they typed their name at the end, i replied to one to be nice ONCE and i never got a reply back so i just ignore them now
