DSi is coming out next week april 5th? if im not mistaken im pretty sure its in the first week of apirl.
what are you guy's thoughts on it?
anyone plan on getting it?
i might get it im not sure and there is a DSi shop similar to the wii shop
they removed the GBA game port and put in a camera along with other things as well

The new DSi looks really sweet, especially with the 'net, though I could live without the cameras, but I really like my sweet little Crimson and Black, and I'm not sure I'm ready to part with it. I might when the new Zelda game comes out, since Phantom Hourglass was what really prompted me to buy the DS.

i would stick with your older DS units due to the DSi region locking

Correction: The "region lock" only means that you can only download games from the US download store. The cartridge slot is still 100% region-free.

true but the very fact that nintendo placed DRM on the DSi is a fail on their score sheet.

I'm not getting a DSi unless Bandai comes out with a sequel to their first Code Geass game. I sold my first DS because it was the only game I played, and had already played it twice through. The new DS seems nice with the SD slot and camera but I just don't see how it would be of any use to me.
