but completely uneccisary. Had they stuck to the light novels and the anime I wouldn't consider this milking. But really this smells like "Lets see how much money we can get the Haruhi fanboys to pay us for stuff that will be mediocre and can't stand up to stuff that was made for this particular form of media"

because it is a game that is obviously being made to make money. Like all the games that are based off movies, they are just bound to suck balls, cause no one is in it to make a good game, they're in it to make money. Granted, I could be wrong, but you can't honestly tell me that they were thinking, "Wow Haruhi would make a great rpg game." Haruhi doesn't transfer well to an rpg game, which they are tring to make. On the other hand Haruhi could transfer well into a dating sim/visual novel game. You have three female main characters to work with (Haruhi, Yuki, Mikuru). That type of game could be done well, but it would still be made to get money from fanboy's who buy anything that has Haruhi printed on it.
99% of games based on series, movies, animes, franchises, are complete and utter crap, not worth mentioning to anyone who likes playing video games. But there is that 1% I don't know if this game will lie in that 1%; but chance are that it won't.
