Well I finished all the Tsukihime endings and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can see why it made TYPE-MOON famous. Playing through all of it filled it a lot of gaps that didn't quite transfer over to the Melty Blood games. You figure out why Kohaku does the things she does in Melty Blood. I now know where the name Nanaya Shiki comes from. I know how Akiha's demon powers work. I know how SHIKI's demon powers work also (even though he isn't in melty blood). I know how Ciel's big gun works. I know how Roa came into exsitance. I know how Shiki's eyes really work (Well I knew before, but the game is different from what i originally thought, if only by alittle). So many cool things I didn't know before.
I have come to a realization that Hisui is the only sane person in the whole Tsukihime universe.
Gabe I am gonna have to do a lot of talkin with you when we get back from break. Unless your up for discussing it on the forums.

okay when I got my torrent mine came with a folder that had these three files in it
Tsuki Hime.ccd Tsuki Hime.img Tsuki Hime.sub
you need to mount the "Tsuki Hime.ccd" file. After you have mounted it you need to run the Mirrormoon v1.1 patch. "tsukihime_english_v1.1[mirror_moon].exe" you don't have to actually install the game via the cd img. Running the patch will install it in english. But it doesn't install the all the music. After you install it, a readme.txt file will be there and instruct you in how to install the music.
One of the reasons you might be having trouble installing it, even without the patch, is the fact your computer needs to be set to the japanese language settings to install properly. But that is only if your trying to install the original japanese game. When you install via the patch, it isn't needed.
Another reason is that you might not have the correct version of Tsukihime and the patch. There are a couple different versions of Tsukihime with extra stuff in them. Mirrormoon has a patch for all of them, so make sure you have matching ones. Mine is the original Tsukihime.

Cool, you could download the game? From where?
Wait a minute... Isn't Tsukihime PC an H-game? *Shock Horror!* Mi Dios! What the hell are you doing?! This is not for young eyes!
FYI, I've read a little of the Tsukihime manga online. It's good and I can really see where some of the, *sigh* H-game influences come in. But since reading up to Chapter 43-44, well, let's just say that I now have to plot the elaborate and violent death of Shiki ALONG with my current one to off Shinji Ikari.
No tolerance to perversity, I say!

Tsukihime is a "Visual Novel" that just happens to have H in it.

I managed to get the installer to work correctly. I can give you a disc I burned for installation purposes if you'd like.
