I've been trying to put together a few different advertisement ideas for a while now, so perhaps I can get that to work out...

Hmm, actually, I think we may be thinking a little too hard into this. I'm sure that a lot of girls will be into the very same animes that we are into (even those with in Steve's tastes, from the mindless kick-ass genre). Heck, I'm sure a lot of females are interested in Shana, Haruhi and When they Cry like we are.
I suppose the real issue then, is to advertise. Is it really that hard to know of us?

Well, I will say that as far as putting information about organizations UofMD gets an A+. At UK we were lucky if the list of organizations even had the anime club on it, and when it did, it listed it as Anime Club instead of it's name at the time, AMUK. This made advertising on campus difficult considering we had to get permission from every dorm and location we posted to. However, we did have fliers everywhere, and we had to repost about every 3 weeks due to the amount of fliers that would be posted on campus. Ours would get covered, we'd cover others, and vise versa. We had a website with tons of info on it as well which you could access via google very easily and listed ourselves at anipike and all of the places we could.
Basically, as far as finding out about the club, I had to dig on the campus website to find information. It was there, which was quite nice. However, looking around campus, you don't see anything. So unless you are specifically looking, you really wouldn't be able to see it.
