I'm cool for events during the summer, I'll be around all day, just about everyday. Announce it and I will bring the chips - or cake.
I'm game for Thursdays during the fall, though I might actually be able to join up on Fridays in the fall this time.

I wont know until after I return from my trip to Kentucky this coming week if I will need to stay in order to find work during the summer. After then, I imagine by the end of May I'll be up for hosting a weekend event. Of course if everyone's up for it, I'd say every other weekend after that I can host as well (minus those I'll be gone for a convention.)

same, in fact I don't mind hosting the first one. It is only a question of when really. weekends will be friday and saturday by the way. If It is at all possible I would like everyone out of my house saturday night. Unless you guys want to come to church with me on sunday.
If you guys want I can do one next friday and saturday. May 8th and 9th I think (not this friday, but the next one). If I enough people are interested (i.e. 1; not much people are needed really. I don't mind spending two days watching anime with Luke or Chow), I am definetly up for it. I assume Nate won't be able to be there, driving from Kentucky to my house is some drive.
My house is kinda out of the way for some people. Some responses quick would be appritiated. I don't know if I will be able to get the days off if you dawdle. I don't want to take the days off and not use them for this.
Well, if we decide my house is too far, we can always do it at someone elses house. I would like to get these things started. Once you start them, it is a lot easier to keep them going I find.
Now, no matter who does the first event, we need to decide what we will watch. I am in favor of showing something I have or haven't seen. It is really up to you guys.

Distance? A jedi frets not these things. Though I wont be heading back till Mother's day since I would like to spend at least part of it with my mom for once. Considering where I have to drive to every Tuesday for Youmacon meetings, I doubt any of you would be too far for me to make it to ^^ I'll leave my series suggestions for when I can join in however.

The buffalo wild wings up at mound rd and M-59. Then I head over to Utica. Then to Troy. Then back to Redford. Then finally back home. And that's on days we don't go visit the con hotel or the chair's house ^^()

Ok, now that I'm back and mostly set after ACEN I guess it's time to figure out when I'll be able to host one of these little shindigs.
This weekend is going to be a no go, partially because of the short notice and also since I'm not fully unpacked and rested after the convention.
So I'm thinking either next weekend May 30 - June 1 or the next weekend June 6 - June 8.
Let me know which weekend would be best for you guys and if you'd rather do a 2 day or a 3 day. I'll leave the series(s) that we'll watch also up to consensus. I'll be cataloging my collection this weekend, so I'll be able to post it for review.

Yeah, if I can do it at all, then June 6-8 is probably the better weekend.
Again, if my schedule's clear, I'd be willing to host something as well. Not only could we get a good lineup going, but by that time, my arcade machine should be finished, so we can probably play a few games on there as well.

Alright, looks like June 6-8 is the best date so that's when I will plan to host.
So, if you plan on making it out then drop me a line at ngsilver@ngsilver.com (or IM me) and I'll send you my address, some minor directions to help you find my house, and my cell #.
In case you haven't noticed it I do live in Taylor, so take that into consideration when deciding if you want to head out (I know it isn't far from UMD but I always have this problem with people who live on the East side thinking that Taylor is a huge distance to travel.)
