I ordered new speakers like the ones that Gabe used to use, so we won't have to deal with the room speakers for too much longer. We'll for sure have them for the meeting next week and even possibly the meeting this week.

Glad to hear it.
Out of curiosity, how much did they end up costing?

Nah, used amazon with free shipping for 82 bucks. They are usually pretty fast though, so I might get them this week.

If we were seriously looking at getting new speakers I could have donated my old set of surround speakers. They're just sitting in my storage unit right now.

Well I already have the new ones on the way, so we're all set. Thanks for the offer though. We could possibly use them in the booth once I get a TV and DVD player set up which I was planning on doing soon.

^ We may not even need a TV. Between the currently-unused monitor sitting on the cubicle and all of VGC's TVs not currently in use, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get something set up provided we get a DVD player. And honestly, you can get one of decent quality for only, like, $20 nowadays; not exactly a huge hit on anyone's wallet.
