To submit a show for consideration on the fall ballot i would like a few things. These are due by 7PM 9/11, please turn in before if you can but this is to also give new people a chance to turn in options at the meeting, and me time to get a ballot printed before the meeting is done More details are still being hammered out. But voting will go from when we get the ballots made then till 9pm thursday 9/17 so i have time to count and get the content together, giving both old and new members time to vote. What people need to turn in for new shows is simple. Title: (english or japanese, please use ANN/wiki titles) Genre(s): (Shounen, Shoujo, mecha) Broadcast year: Source: (DVD or Fansub, if licensed DVD must be provided<or found in my collection>) A short Intro to what the show is about. (about a paragraph) Shows can be posted here or sent to me as PMs, people can either opt to read shows of their pitch off to the crowd or i and nate may just switch off on the ones who don't have someone opt for them. Meaning you can suggest a show and stay anonymous or be public about your suggestions. more one balloting will be said later on. Attachments:

Title: Black Lagoon Genre(s): Seinen - Action, Crime fiction Broadcast year: 2006 (24 episodes, all 5-min shorts) Source: DVD (Own and can provide both seasons, but MUST be watched dubbed to retain author’s original intent) A short Intro to what the show is about: A group of pirates/mercenaries who run a smuggling operation in the seas of Southeast Asia. The show revolves around the battles and circumstances of each of their jobs, many of which involve the local Mafiosi.
Title: Hayate the Combat Butler II Genre(s): Shounen – Parody, Romantic comedy Broadcast year: 2009 (26 episodes) Source: Subs (Legal subs can be streamed in HD on Crunchyroll)* A short Intro to what the show is about: The continuing adventures of the world’s unluckiest and most debt-ridden butler, and the lovesick otaku who took him in.
Title: Mutant Turtles: Superman Legend Genre(s): Shounen - Bastardization of preexisting American property Broadcast Year: 1995 (2 episodes) Source: Subs (can provide full OVA) A short Intro to what the show is about: It's the Ninja Turtles you love, but with twisted Power Rangers style transformation sequences. Good for a laugh, if nothing else.
Title: Petit Eva: Evangelion@School Genre(s): Shounen – Comedy, Parody, Shorts Broadcast year: 2007 (24 episodes) Source: Subs (Can provide full series) A short Intro to what the show is about: The cast of Neon Genesis Evangelion gets the SD treatment and is transplanted into a surreal school-based setting. Hilarity ensues.
Title: Sgt. Frog Genre(s): Shounen - Sci-Fi, Comedy Broadcast year: 1999 (274+ episodes) Source: DVD (Can provide first 26 episodes) A short Intro to what the show is about: An alien frog and his platoon fail at invading the earth and take up residence with an earthling family. Again, hilarity ensues.
Title: Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z Hen Genre(s): Shounen – Mecha Broadcast year: 2009 (26 episodes) Source: Subs * A short Intro to what the show is about: A sort of retelling of the timeless super robot series Mazinger Z. Long story short: Giant robots beat the crap out of each other and look awesome doing it.
Title: Slayers Genre(s): Seinen - Fantasy, Comedy Broadcast year: 1995 (104 episodes) Source: DVD (Can provide first three seasons) A short Intro to what the show is about: The story of sorceress Lina Inverse and her companions traveling the world, stealing from bandits, and defeating villains. Hailed as an all-time classic.
Title: Sonic F Genre(s): Parody, Comedy, Shorts Broadcast year: 2009 (6+ episodes, hopefully 78 + movie) Source: Raw episodes (Can provide, of course) A short Intro to what the show is about: A parody of the Sonic X series. Totally kicks ass.
Title: Yakitate!! Japan Genre(s): Shounen – Comedy, Culinary Broadcast year: 2004-2006 (69 episodes) Source: Subs (Can provide full series) A short Intro to what the show is about: Kazuma Azuma seeks to create “Ja-pan”, a national bread to represent Japan, using his legendary Solar Hands, which gives him great bread-baking abilities. After heading to Tokyo, Azuma quickly becomes involved in multiple competitions to prove himself and help save the failing store he is employed under.
I'll probably add more later.

can we limit it to 1 show per person unless we don't have enough submissions to fill the line-up?

while i'm not looking for a term paper, i'd still like something more than a line, a bit more meat for the voters to grab on to.

When in doubt, steal a plot description from Wikipedia/ANN.

What kind of test are we walking about? Who invented this test? What are the criteria? Who or what gets the final say? I hope it is the members and not the staff. Also, I just realized that the submission time is set for an hour and a half after the first meeting begins. What is going to happen during that time? Are we spending all that time making suggestions and deciding what to watch? That seems flawed. I presume you are going to decide the line up for the first day on your own. I hope the first line up has suggestions made by as many members as possible. Also on a similar subject, I think the club constitution needs a major overhaul about what to do in case of conflicts. There should be clear lines and details about how to handle these things. To my knowledge, the current one is insufficient.

I'd suggest Genshiken as well (if I could actually get my hands on the DVDs), but I'm afraid that if we show an anime about an anime club meeting DURING an actual anime club meeting, it might cause a paradox and destroy the time-space continuum.
