I think we need another thread for suggestions of shows to show for anime club meetings. I feel like the last thread for this didn't really get the job done. I feel we should have people suggest stuff and get a solid list of what people want to see. I will keep track in this post right here using the friendly edit button.
I will start with YJ or Yakitate!! Japan for those of you who don't use cool acronyms.

I would have to agree on the Yakitate! Heck, I even got some Yakitate tracks on my Stepmania setup. I should bring that up one of these days, we can make fools of ourselves to anime music!

Oh, I'm voting Yakitate as well. I thought the idea behind the topic, though, was to suggest as many different ideas as possible.

I 2nd the suggestion on Shangri-La and Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z Hen. From the episode we watched at the last meeting for winter semester it looked really good. Mystery Science Theater 3000. As in finding the worst of the worst, then making snarky sarcastic commentary at its expense.
Also, I'd love to try introducing folks to Slayers, as that's definitely a classic that I think would resonate well with the club members who haven't already seen it.
